25th Anniversary Conference
Thank you to all our speakers and everyone who attended our 25th Anniversary conference for making it such an enjoyable day. We received some brilliant feedback on the day:
- “all speakers were interesting in what they shared but listening to carers and the impact BFT has on them was humbling.”
- “Diversity of speakers was impressive.”
- “I enjoyed hearing about the experiences of others. I was particularly interested to hear from the overseas speakers, especially Canada as I visit quite regularly. Angela was inspiring too, it was amazing to hear about how helpful she found BFT.”
- “Angela was incredible and so inspiring, her words were heartfelt and a reason why I miss practice if I’m honest! And a reminder of how powerful BFT is. I also enjoyed Alison Brabban and her discussions around the evidence base and policies and the drivers to support FI including BFT, interesting to hear her thoughts on ways in which we could achieve this, which aligns with my desire to embed these skills in the nursing curriculum for student mental health nurses who will join a workforce with a family focused approach.
